Draw Update : King out as Preparations gather pace

Defending women’s champion Joelle King has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming VITAGEN Singapore Squash Open due to a back injury.

The Kiwi is replaces at top seed by last year’s runner-up Nour El Tayeb with England’s Gina Kennedy moving to the top of the draw as second seed.

Hong Kong’s Tong Tsz-Wing is promoted to a 9/16 seed and faces Nour Aboulmakarim in the first round, with Finland’s Emilia Soini coming in to the draw, where she’ll face Malaysia’s Siva Subramaniam at the bottom of the draw.

Preparations Gather Pace

Meanwhile, preparations for the 2023 event continue with plenty of branding around the venue, and construction of the Glass Court has begun, ready for action on the 14th !!
